Hayley Orndorf | Curriculum Developer
Hayley Orndorf is a Curriculum Developer for the Education and Workforce Development Program at BioMADE. Hayley supports the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum related to EWD activities. She works to ensure materials are accessible, aligned to the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) guidelines, and embedded with the core principles of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility. Hayley has worked as an instructional designer in post-secondary education and with undergraduate biology education reform projects to support initiatives around open educational resources (OER) and the application of UDL to biology education. Hayley holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.S.Ed. in Learning Design and Technology from Purdue University.
