BioMADE Webinar Series — Stress Testing Bioindustrial Supply Chains  for Levels of Trust, Security, Resilience, Agility, and Competitiveness

Members, join us on August 9, 2023, to hear how through their BioMADE project, researchers at Georgia Tech have developed a manufacturing facility and supply chain stress test process to evaluate the impact of disruptions on end-to-end bioindustrial supply chain KPIs, setting the stage for adjusting supply chain design and processes for improved system competitiveness at reduced risk and cost. Join this webinar to preview the results of two case studies —one done for a large industry member and one for a start-up member. More detailed results will be presented in a workshop later this year (all BioMADE members welcome; details below). Envisioned extensions of the stress test process include (i) use of generative AI for rapid digital twin model development and a user interface, (ii) use of a blend of AI and OR analytic tools to aid in identifying unimaged disruptions and supply chain design and process readjustments for improved system performance, and (iii) use of such a decision support capability for building a more trusted, secure, resilient, competitive, and sustainable end-to-end bioindustrial manufacturing ecosystem for the nation.
