Composites & Advanced Materials Expo (CAMX)

The Composites and Advanced Materials Expo is the largest, most comprehensive composites and advanced materials event in North America. Don’t miss the Bio-Based Composite Materials: Needs, Resources, Market and Technologies panel, featuring Clem Fortman, National Security Development Fellow at BioMADE on September 24 at 11:00 AM:

Biomanufacturing utilizes living systems and/or natural resources to produce critical materials at scale, decreasing vulnerabilities in unstable supply chains. It was recently identified and listed as one of the 6 Critical Technology Areas (CTAs) by the Department of War. The bio-based composite material community has been fast growing over the last decade on both investment and material technology development. Through the panelists, the CAMX attendees learn more about new fibers, resins, the resulting composites, applications and resources/opportunities to be involved.

Held in Atlanta, GA. Learn more at: https://www.aiche.org/sbe/conferences/commercializing-industrial-biotechnology/2026
