Kathryn Brink | Associate Director of Strategy and Bioeconomic Development

Kathryn Brink is the Associate Director of Strategy and Bioeconomic Development at BioMADE. In this role, Kathryn supports the CEO and Leadership Team with the development, management, and execution of tactical and strategic projects that enable BioMADE’s long-term growth. Kathryn brings to the role technical expertise, project management, and leadership skills gained from building and leading a community of early-career researchers at the Engineering Biology Research Consortium and nearly a decade of research spanning engineering biology, biosecurity, and responsible innovation. Prior to her appointment with BioMADE, Kathryn was a Postdoctoral Fellow in Biotechnology Innovation & International Security at Stanford University and earned her PhD in Systems, Synthetic, and Physical Biology at Rice University.
